JDG created the NOAA Ocean Service identifier, using clean and strong typography, and the most recognizable element of the NOAA logo, the sea gull. JDG also created a wave graphic which will be used consistently on all materials, enhancing the brand.

The main identifier is always used, ensuring clear brand recognition, and individual office names are added consistently below—immediately illustrating the relationship of that office with its parent organization.
